Sing Me a Lullaby

I'm sorry to say that I've abandoned you dear sweet blog world. for the most part I've been low and not wanting to acknowledge the tiny, beautiful blessings that are present in my everyday life.

BUT! things are on the up and up and those small blessing are what got me out of the funk. I am most thankful to have had the opportunity to attend The Rainbow Gathering this year. I won't lie its a residual Woodstock with less music in which they compensate with love. From my perspective the love was still there but from my veteran rainbow warrior friend and soul sister Kristina it is another rainbow completely from her first time. Nonetheless i had an amazing time live in the middle of Mount Pilchuck National Forest painting fairy children faces, walking around barefoot, and just enjoying all the lovely people and their cleverness.

If you are ever approached to go to said Rainbow i encourage you to go! Even if you just want to go off on a woodland adventure or hide in your tent and watch the madness from there you won't regret it.

I am also very thankful for the friends I've acquired over the years. Most of which i have only just recently reconnected with since moving back to my home state of Washington. I will never leave you again dear Washington. I love it here! I missed the ocean! I missed the people i care most about.
-Kristina my soul sister; she has been one of the greatest blessing in my life. she has acknowledged my faults and helped me in the most beautiful way to correct them. And in return i have helped her in the same arena.
-Her entire family as well has accepted me in when i most needed some serious family time.
-Max, my number one gay in the world. He is not just any Gay he is my es-doppelganger in what might of been the most awkward adolescence in recorded history. But we have stuck together i love him so much and he knows me so well. No time has passed when we see each other! i can't wait to see him it has been almost three years! But we made a pact to never go that long between seeing each other again. Nine years I've know this kid!!!
-Michael Skimbles Montana Mountain Man Extraordinaire; As fate would have it five years ago i stumbled upon an interesting fellow via myspace who just so happens to have the voice of Poseidon or something. He has an amazing voice alright? Well we never formally met just chatted online and stuck to each other in the loosest of sense. Bringing us up to date he was looking for a roommate in the Seattle area and i was just starting to look for my own apartment. Almost determined to live alone for fear of destroying another friendship. But this was an opportunity I couldn't refuse. We have been living in the sweetest little apartment ever for almost a week now. It is a sanctuary in the middle of this hectic city. Slowly i am making it my own. But he a most wonderful fellow indeed. We have a lot more in common that i could ever imagine would be possible based on an Internet friendship! hooray for the most compatible signs of all Libra and Libra.

more blessing to come in the next days. I strongly encourage you to keep your chin up through the darkest days because there's always room to come back up.
